Game Changers: Part Two

2015 is the year for Game Changers!

Last month we heard from Graham Cooke about Game Changers. This month, it's YOUR TURN! We want to hear from you about the words God has spoken into your life, either prophetically through others, or via "inheritance Words," that continue to bring meaning to your life and propel you towards the Kingdom of God. After we've had a chance to hear from one another, we'll hear the second half of Cooke's Game Changers message. Make your reservations via email today.

Holocaust Survivor Meets Yeshua

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Paul Gilenson, 86 year old survivor of the Holocaust, as featured speaker for May. Gilenson was an American soldier serving in Europe when his troop was captured by the SS. The other soldiers were taken as prisoners of war, but Mr. Gilenson was sent to a concentration camp.

Just a few years ago while on a trip to Israel, Paul met Yeshua (Jesus)! Assisted by Paul Klaussen, Executive Director of Hope for Israel, Gilenson will share his dramatic story of survival and the powerful testimony of his encounter with Jesus.

Setting Captives Free

Outreach Meeting at a Glance
Wednesday, April 4th at 9:00 AM
Cost is $10 and includes breakfast.

RSVP by Monday, April 2nd to Molly Lambert 324-8494 or Shirley Burkholder 385-8037.

SPEAKER: Roger Paul
Since 1978 Roger Paul has been visiting men in jails and prison – setting the captives free! Before that, he was on the other side of the fence. In his own words, Roger says, “As a young person, I was messed up on drugs for too many years and in and out of jail too many times.”
Because of the faithfulness of one woman who dared to share the gospel with him, Roger gave his life to Jesus. Today he testifies that God takes us with all of our hurts, habits and hang-ups and transforms us by His grace, to fulfill His purpose in us and through us.

In 2008 Roger began volunteering with Interfaith Outreach Association in the Progressive Release Program. Volunteers in this jail ministry teach men and women basic life skills based on Biblical truths. Roger became the program’s full time director in 2009 when he retired from the USPS after 33 years.

Roger and his wife Colleen Myers Paul have been married for nearly 36 years. They moved to Lynchburg with their two sons so Roger could complete a degree in counseling at Liberty University. He is currently working towards a Masters in Pastoral Counseling.

Roger’s life verse is Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
